Boxers and Debriefs: Bum to Bum

Boxers and Debriefs: Home Stretch
Things are really beginning to come together. House renovations are pretty much complete, move is essentially done, and the third trimester is upon us. We are at the goal line and a score is eminent.
While we are prepared, there is still so much to do. So many final purchases, meetings with…

Random Thought - By My Husband
The more positive you are, the more positive you life will be. Things will always go wrong, but positivity will allow you to push a little more.
Boxers and Debriefs: Is you Is, or is you ain't?
I’m posing this question to my wife… Am I the only one who finds it a little bit crazy that you married me?
I mean, think about all your options. Think about how sane you would be. Think about where you would have been. Would you still be in NY? I’m pretty sure every NYC man is thanking me right…
A Stranger Gave Me Hope…
Last month I faced what might have been a dire situation - it really could have gone either way but because of the severity of it all both my husband and I struggled with it and we both immediately felt devastated - before we actually knew the outcome. When we first heard the news we thought the worst until a woman, a stranger to my life shared her story, a very personal story. She is a nurse at my doctor’s office and she shared with us her story in hopes of giving us both just that…HOPE. Hope is such a miraculous thing to have, it’s a blind faith that you have in people, in life, in faith. Hope is in fact a state of mind and thanks to one woman my husband and I were showered with hope…a stranger to us both and she was kind enough to shed light upon us when she said it appeared we had none. She in turn gave me hope, in our situation at the time, in myself and she strengthened my faith in others….In the end we had nothing to fear, all ended well and again I was thankful for her words that day. So, thank you “Windie” the nurse…you gave me hope, you gave us both hope that day and each time I see you …well let’s just say you strengthen my faith by showing me by example the goodness that exists in others.
